He slept thru the first part of the show (acrobats- really cool!) and was nice and quiet during the second half (Chinese Opera). We made a quick stop to see the changing of the guard at Martyrs Shrine and then to the Grand Hotel. Lastly, we visited the National Palace Museum. Since we are not museum people, we spent more time in the restaurant and gardens. The gardens were nice and had lots of shade. Have I mentioned how hot it is here? Today was very hot and sunny but did not seem as humid.
Ed found his new favorite soda. I'll have to ask him the name. It's kind of like a 7 up but less sugary.
We all took a nap when we got back to the hotel. Ed is still have a rough time with the jet lag and it hits him in the late afternoon or evening. After our nap we had dinner at Din Tai Fung. Yum Yum! This is the famous dumpling restaurant that the bloggette's all recommended. We may have to go back again because Danny was getting antsy so we skipped desert.
Tomorrow we have an early morning appointment at AIT and then we are touring again. Also today we were pleased to meet another couple with the same agency who picked up their daughter today Congrats! We will all be touring together for the next few days which should be fun. Their Mandarin can't be any worse than ours (mine)!
